to qns b) What is the most valueable lesson from this trip?
the SCP has been an eye opener, both to see God move within the China Chinese and also to see God in the team, using the team to minister to one another.
We have seen many China Chinese people receiving the packs from us. The packs consists of a full Bible with the 66 books as canoned as the Word of God, tracts that talked about Christianity's relation with the Chinese culture, a Jesus Film VCD, and also a book for intellectuals to read about the faith in Jesus. We saw many of them receiving the packs with love and gladness. And many who wanted to take but were held back by some. We pray for those who have taken and who had not. it is the desire of God and also of us that they would have a chance to hear the true Good News and also the chance to taste of the salvation that is only through Jesus Christ! We have seen God moving the hearts of the China Chinese as we prayed and did prayer walks. We also see passion for the lost building up in the hearts of the team mates as we avail ourselves to be a vessel to touch the people there. it has been a very touching and thought provoking to see the China Chinese people taking the packs. they were hungry for the Gospel. there are billions of people in China, and Jesus is using all means to reach them! the SCP is but one of the many means that our Lord is using to reach them.
Indeed, it was a time of not just reaching the people that are hungry for God's touch, but also a privilege to reach more of God's heart for world wide harvest of souls. i pray that we will all have a chance to contribute to the heartbeat of God-- the many, many lost people out there without God, who need people sent by the Lord to tell them.
